Changing for love?

They say "Don't change because of someone. Be who you are."

"Changing for someone isn't worth it."
"Don't lose your identity because of love"
"Stop pleasing them"
"Be yourself"
"Don't change for love"
"Stop impressing others"

We've heard of all these statements trying to advise us not to change who we are just to impress the ones we usually are interested in pleasing.

If one is willing to change who they are when they're not, it shows the effort and love they have towards their loved ones.
Some may criticise them for being stupid or dumb just to change for someone else but to those who appreciate it is the ones that recognise their change, they are the one who deserves such love.

In this very moment, it is up to the other on how they handle the changed that their loved one has made for them.
Eventually, a person could not continue an act for a long time. Their true colours would start showing and they would not be who their partner perceive them as who they were when they met at the very first beginning.

But if a person is still capable of loving them even though their partner has shown their true colours, this love will be full of surprises and it'll blossom because both end up loving each other even more because they know how far they'll go just to love one another.

Love is always unconditional and simple
Love deeply and fiercely with all your heart, mind and soul

Namaste

  1. Feel like changing is a must but not in the crushing stage. When two people being tgt , there will always get some conflicts ,so they need to change to make sure the relationship can be continued.

  2. change is inevitable in any relationship. it's a give and take. While in essence you should endeavor to be yourself, you should also endeavor to be the best version of yourself for both of you. And that goes both ways. Nice piece
